For several years, Bates Leather Co. was simply a hobby. Most of the products made were only for family and close friends. As time progressed, we wanted to broaden our horizons and reach people all around the world with our leather products. Transforming from a small hobby, it became a passion.

Our mission statement says it all, "Embracing Creativity, Reflecting the Image of God." As a Christian company, we boldly recognize that we are made in the image of God. Since God is a creator, and since we are made in His image, we are likewise creative, and feel as though this gift God has given us should be embraced.
